Automobile chassis assembly line

The automobile chassis assembly line is the core production line that achieves efficient integration of chassis systems in automobile manufacturing. Through professional division of work stations, accurate material distribution, and collaboration between automated equipment and information systems, efficient transfer from parts to complete chassis is achieved.

I. The core technology of the automobile chassis production line

U-shaped/linear layout: The mainstream adopts a linear assembly line, and stations such as "frame on-line → powertrain installation → suspension assembly → brake/steering system integration → inspection off-line" are arranged in order of the process. The length of the single line is usually 50-100 meters, and the beat time is set according to the complexity of the vehicle model (such as the beat time of the passenger car chassis is about 120-180 seconds/unit).

  Three-dimensional warehousing and distribution: The upper suspension chain transports heavy parts such as tires and suspension brackets, the ground AGV trolley distributes core components such as engines and gearboxes, and "supermarket-oriented" material racks are set up along the line (stock is prepared in advance according to the needs of the station) to achieve "pull" material supply (only replenished according to the consumption of the production beat).

II.  The core equipment of the automobile chassis production line

Intelligent robot: responsible for grabbing and installing special parts such as steering knuckles and suspension swing arms (repetitive positioning accuracy ±0.1mm);

Electric tightening gun: closed-loop control of torque of key bolts (such as engine mount bolts)(real-time data collection and upload to MES);

Visual guidance system: Verify the installation position of suspension components through an industrial camera (automatic alarm for deviation>0.5mm).

Fixtures: Each workstation is equipped with a positioning fixture that can be lifted/rotated (such as a three-point positioning fixture for the frame, with an error of ±0.2mm) to support rapid switching of multiple models (by replacing the fixture module, the model adaptation can be completed within 3 minutes).
